Thank you for your email, forwarded on to me by Roger. There is now a story on the site covering the achievement of James Ward and please accept my apologies that this was not there sooner.
We are very aware of the need to highlight the success of British players, at all levels of the game, and we are continuing to increase the level and type of coverage we give to all British players across the site.
The British tennis map gives people the opportunity to track players throughout the week and builds into the coverage given across the site in news stories and broader coverage such as player blogs and features.
We have an editorial schedule which helps us track the way we cover players and tiers of event, this is something which is being continuously reviewed and I apologise that in this instance the coverage wasn't as high as it may have been. James' result yesterday was a fantastic achievement and I will be looking out for the result of today's final and will ensure that the web story is updated.
Thank you for your feedback and I hope you see the coverage we give our players and British tennis in general continue to grow.
Kind regards
Rhian
There is indeed now a short piece on the website on Wardy's progress but I am hoping it will soon be out of dateand will be updated with an even better story!

Well done, it's good to see something there. They still don't seem to have picked up on the clay court aspect of the story - given all the stories over the years about Brits being rubbish on clay, do they really not think that's important?

Good point raised here by Robxon though Wardy is not the first to be conveniently ignored as was pointed out by Drew and replied on by myself last summer. The following post appeared on this site -
"Thanks to the post about Neil Harmans article about Liam winning in Italy I know now that he won it.
How did we (or I) miss this ?
This event had live scoring, live video....and we missed it all here. And a young Brit won the whole thing without dropping a set !!!
