Two splendid results today from Goody & Boggo, even though I didn't know that Josh had taken a LL spot. Now let's have more of the same. Josh's turn for two matches tomorrow. I hope he gets revenge against Mr Flopsy.
Two good wins today, although if Boggo had lost then it would have been an absolute disaster - if only he could get a first round draw like that every week.
Much better performance from Josh and good to see him cause the upset over Dorsch, but it's amazing how often players who lose in qualifying and get in as a lucky loser then end up winning in round one (and often get a better draw than the player who beat them)
Hopefully he can get revenge on Sergeyev for the quali loss and make what I guess would be his first QF of the year.
Boggo can beat Meffert as well, but you never know which Boggo will turn up, so trying to predict his match is a waste of time.
The 'Turning point' comment was more in the hope that they can both push on and get some momentum.
There havn't been many weeks recently where we have had 3 players (Perhaps 4 tomorrow) in the 2nd round of a challenger in the same week (Typing that does however tell you all you need to know about British tennis we are celebrating 2nd round performances)

Having just checked the OoP again & then the DS, Josh has to face Sergeyev in both the singles and the doubles. Aucks' & Goody's original opponents having been replaced by the Ukranian pair of Marchenko and Sergeyev. They'll be fed up of each other by the end of the day.

Blimey! What's going on here? Musical chairs, Izmir style? I posted only yesterday evening that Aucks & Goody were due to face Kirillov & Sitak (alternates replacing Bachinger & Beck) in the first round of the doubles!
