my dad told me somethign just flashed up on bbc site saying rafa pulled out of queens due to knee injury, but now its gone. he claims he isn't playing a joke. but it's gone from the bbc (was scrolling at the top bit) and i cant find it anywhere else.

Rafa being out changes the event significantly and probably makes Murray the huge favourite to win the title with only really Roddick standing in his way from taking it.
It looks like one of the weaker Queens events in recent memory given that they've lost Djokovic and Tsonga to Halle, Gasquet to cocaine, Davydenko to visa issues, and Nalbandian, Nadal and Ancic to injury.
Just three top 10 players now (and one of them, Simon, is surely on his way out), but perhaps the good news will be that with the relative lack of stars, the Brits will get their chance to shine on the main court.
