Great for Georgie and Broady tho, I hope Broady can do some damage with her serve! We could have a great week here. Sadly Im not going this year but will be there next year for sure.

I do hope the LTA are being sensible about spreading out their wild cards this grass season. This might mean they are giving Naomi C a wildcard into Birmingham. I remember their awful planning last year which resulted in Slabba and Ward playing ATP Nottingham when they should have been at Wimbly qualifying. Giving them Queens wildcards would have been much more sensible.
Also there are two womens wild cards still to be given (there's no way Georgie won't get in as a DA once the SE places are cleared) so Naomi C could still be given one.

I hope you're right, certainly sounsd plausible. I suppose for Naomi the wins here probably mean more than the points. Its a very strong field, but grass could be exactly what she needs to get some points back and some confidence, so I hope she hasnt been over-looked due solely to her drop in the rank!
When its the cut off point for players still in RG to be allowed to play here? Groth for example is still in the MD and plays Jankovic on Saturday, same with Cirstea and some extra withdrawls would be nice to free up the WC and get Georgie in on merit. And not forgetting doubles, Vania King is playing strong tennis and may not be out for a couple of days??
Cool. Cavaday and EWS deserve WCs for sure. I hope Jocelyn makes a succesful return too, I remember seeing her in the girls doubles last year, I think she may have been with Jade Curtis(?) but she looked good, she was very tall and I did wonder whether she would get an injury as a consequence.
Loads of Brits in action is always good though. I hope if anyone can go watch they can report back to us :D
