Half-expected Aucks to turn up here: he has teamed up with the Brazilian, Marcio Torres, & they are the fourth seeds. They play the Italian WCs, Fabio Colangelo & Vico Uros, in the first round. Should be OK for the QFs...
Unfortunately, Delgo, with the Dutchman, Jesse Huta Galung, in tow, is also in their half of the draw, but the other quarter. They have drawn the unseeded Argentine pair, Diego Alvarez & Juan Pablo Unpronounceable (Brzezicki!), in the first round. Tough draw for an untried & untested scratch (so far as I'm aware) partnership!
P.S. Can someone please explain to me why the bloody Activeboard system won't accept either the keyboard-entered or the ASCII code for the euro symbol? It's a right royal PIA to have to type out the word every time!

The answer to your question: press the "Alt Gr" key and the appr. key. It works for me!
Cheers, h, but it doesn't - nothing (Crtl+Alt+the euro key, AltGr+the euro key, Alt+0128, Ctrl+Alt+E...) does, neither on my own laptop nor on my office PC! The curious thing is that it used to, but ever since what I presume were technical changes made by the Activeboard people some time last year - those following which I found I had to click on the "Back" button twice to go back a single page! - I've drawn a complete blank - though sometimes at work, the symbol will appear in the drafting section, but not in "preview" nor in the final post!), hence my cri de coeur yesterday!
The symbol still works for me, but I do get the having to click the back button twice to go back one page problem and it's very irritating, as is the fact that once you've clicked on an emoticon and added it to your text, you can't copy and paste anything in that post. I've no idea why Activeboard made whatever changes are causing these problems because they didn't exist before.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Both Brits involved in consecutive matches on Court 5 tomorrow, starting at 15.00 BST, Aucks/Torres vs Colangelo/Vico first. Fingers crossed...
Not sure what happened with the OoP today (maybe the lousy British BH weather somehow exported itself to Italy? ), but only Delgo & Huta Galung played - & lost, 5 & 2! Aucks & Torres now scheduled to meet Colangelo & Vico in the fifth & final match on the centre court tomorrow.
This problem of having to click the back button twice, I have to do it as well (very irratating I agree!) here but not on any other computer when I check the site when away. Why's that then???

Damn! That's a disappointment, but they were playing a pair from Argentina so perhaps not too unexpected. Jesse lost his singles too, 1&1.
Here's to a better result tomorrow for Aucks & Torres.
Just tested the Alt Gr key with the euro key & it's worked.

They did, indeed. As luck would have it the 2nd seeds, who were in their half, bit the dust going down to Bednarek & Westerhof (POL/NED) & the Ukranian third seeds are also out. Time to make the most of their opportunity, methinks. They have a day off tomorrow.
QF (q3): Aucks & Torres play yet another pair of Italian WCs, Daniele Bracciali & Giancarlo Petrazzuolo, in the final match on Court 1 tomorrow, after another doubles match which kicks off no earlier than 14.30 BST. Bracciali, however, has a singles match on the centre court earlier in the afternoon, so there's likely to be at least a slight delay while Bracciali takes his obligatory "suitable rest". Whether or no, hope it's a breeze...

Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me. Completely omitted to mention in my last post that the top seeds, Brown & Motti (JAM/ITA), lost to Giorgini & Ungur (ITA/ROU) by 6-4 4-6 [5-10] today!
