Yet another dire result for Brassington, sadly, but an excellent win for our youngest ranked player!

He has been throwing his raquet all over the place and with no umpire he gets away with it.

Knights 6-3 6-7(5) 1-2* - oh dear

The main draw is being held up by this match, obviously. In the doubles, Evo/Bains have drawn Smethurst/Meatball in R1.

Knights 6-3 6-7(5) 1-4* - Drew says Knights has lost focus.

Impressive for Jamie Whiteford to push Fitzy that close he looked like a good player when I saw him at British Tour, had a good serve if I remember rightly. Good to see 6 British qualifiers some good wins in the FQR shame Knights couldn't pull out the win.

6 qualifiers isn't bad, I just hope that some of the Brits can make more progress in the main draw this time and get more points. Last year, the points haul from Edinburgh was better than the one from Bournemouth, with luck it will be this year too.
