Oh no ... I had to go for a while, came back, noticed Wardy had taken the 1st set to a t/b, then saw it was *6-4 to Isner and he won the next point. A very good fight, but I bet he's wishing he hadn't let that t/b get away.

Yes, if player A's decimal odds are A, the chance of winning is 1/A.
... except that usually they don't quite add up to 1, so an approximate formula that will make the probabilities of both players winning add up to 1 if player A's decimal odds are A and player B's decimal odds are B is:
A's chance of winning = B / (A + B) B's chance of winning = A / (A + B)
Apologies to everyone else once more!

This still isn't at all bad against a player who reached the QFs of the Houston ATP event on this surface last month, beating Capdeville (*) on the way, though from his results there (all 3-setters where he lost the 1st set) he seems to start slow, which doesn't augur well for this set ...
(*) the same Capdeville who thrashed Numpty Nalby 2 & 2 in Estoril this week - though hands up anyone who thinks that might just have been all Numpty's doing ...
