Yes, another excellent win. You have to feel a bit sorry for Alex, who has more than half his points (16 out of, including this week's point, 31) coming off in three weeks time but whose consistent performances this year have, in my opinion, been more impressive overall than that one week wonder.
Of course, a Futures Final this year is worth 8 points like it was last year (he's only going to drop 16 because of the ATP's doubling of all 2008 points, even when the points available for the same performance this year haven't doubled at all), so in any other year, his 3 QFs and 5 R2s would be worth more than a single Final.

It will work out better in the long run though as even though he's losing a lot of points, at the end of the year it will work out and show his improvement
Really should get a QF here - opponent has qualified for the first time after 7 failures and Wardy leads the H2H 1-0 after beating him 1 and 3 last October.
