I'm so glad if this is true. I know Em isn't a young player so many will disapprove of her being selected, but after all she has been through and how she has pulled her career back together these past 12 months I for one would be so pleased to see her in qualies. Also it's good to know what has kept her out of action/ might explain some of her poor results this spring.

Im still shocked to see Liz Thomas, lol, I think all the Brits are capable of a win with the right draw. Naomi B/C and Jade are clearly the 3 strongest in qualies, and Bally/Mel are my faves to win a round in the MD, along with Anne, though I hope Katie beating Naomi will give her a boost! Draw out 2moro for Qs right?

The draw for the men's qualifying comes out later today (play starts Monday), but the draw for the women is done on Monday afternoon, with play starting on Tuesday.

Wonder who'll be going in the mixed? Will Mel and Boggo try and rekindle their partnership, or maybe she'll go for Fleming after the Queens run? You'd've thought Anne could get Jamie or Ross Hutchins to play with her if she fancied it - that might be interesting.

I think it depends on Jamie's status in the doubles game whether he would team up with a British player . I know Anne is British Number 1 but I think Jamie would be looking for a recognised top 20 singles player or a top ranked doubles player like Sam Stosur or Renae Stubbs

True, but given his recent form that might be a bit ambitious at present. You'd think one or other of the top men would want to go with her though.

Hmm id guess Boggo and South would team up again, especially with their decent from. Ross and Sarah maybe, but Ross went with Anne last year. Sarah's been with Bloomers (twice) and Aucks with no success. Delgo and Katie played together and won a round last year

Hutch and Anne are definately playing together. My guesses would be:

Murray/Huber in as a DA
Hutchins/Keothavong
Bloomfield/Borwell
Bogdanovic/South
And then Fleming, Skupski, Aucks and Delgo battling it to get the girls playing with the, with Ken and Colin getting preference in wild cards because of their run at Queens.
