QR2: Daniel Evans WR322 (GBR) vs. Jan Hajek WR375 (CZE)
Decent start for the BFG, who I imagine had to shake off a bit of rust to get the job done. Hajek will be a hard prospect though, career high of #71 3 years ago, clay is his favoured surface and he already has good results at Challenger level in 2009.
anyone have in on panfil, i dont know him, but he will be a davis cup oponent maybe?
Panfil's at a career high just inside the top 300, clay is his favourite surface but he got his best result of the year by qualifying and reaching a semi in a Columbian Challenger (without beating anyone special mind). Hasn't done a great deal since the DC loss to Belgium though.
I would think Janowicz will get the nod ahead of him anyway.
EDIT- Pansil is the first seed to bite the dust, losing in 3 to Semjan.

Good win for Evans and nice to see him playing a bit on the clay courts to get some practice in - would be good if he did qualify here, but Hajek is going to be a tough opponent.
