Bopanna won by 1 & 2.  Boggo's half of the draw has opened up nicely.  The only seed left there is the Brazilian, Thiago Alves (6), as Michael Berrer (4) was put out in three sets by Brendan Evans yesterday. biggrin  Trouble is, he should beat Bops easily.  Danger...! fear.gif

Well done Alex - Looking at the H2H it was certainly one he was capable of winning.

Only really worth anything tho if he carries it on and wins next match - which is again winnable

Pity Stakh lost, I was looking forward to Boggo giving him a bashing for JL's benefit!

Couldn't agree more, but we all know Boggo's penchant for bombing out to someone ranked below him.evileye Would love him to have a good run here and shut a few of his many detractors up, not many on here I hasten to add.hmm

Good one Boggo. Super win. If only he could always do this. It just shows why we all get frustrated with where his position is. Let's hope this can be a new incentive to push forward.

its the eternal paradox of the bogman, he is just as likely to be a player ranked 50-100 as he is to beat a player ranked 250-300.

maybe Boggo likes the extra pace on the ball the top 100 players generate?

Hmmm... I do find Boggo eternally frustrating considering some past results but when he springs one on ya, you can't help but smile. Good lad!

Now, continue.

When he pulls off these wins, you feel even more depressed about how high he could be... cry.gif

Dimitrov lost by 2 and 3. I guess we'll see him get another wild card next week at Ramat Hasharon. hmm.gif

you wonder sometimes if too many wc's can hinder a player development.

its always been this way with boggo tho, thats why the lta etc are scared to cast him away completely just in case.
