Sorry but the ITF/ATP must change this. Getting through FOUR rounds must give you a single point. Thats a joke. No freebies to WC's. Just if its a 128 draw and you make it by right (LL dont count) then you get a point. You wont get most pro's arguing against that Im sure.

Wardy gets 3pts by beating 2 UNR players yet someone like Matthew, who has beaten ranked players in the process, must wait.

Especially harsh as the larger quali draws are associated with stronger MD's meaning the qualifier has even less chance of getting the final win.

I actually agree with that. I think it's monumentally silly to have a 128 Qualies draw, having to win 4 matches to make the MD and then get ZIP out of it. The tennis world is harsh enough as it is without getting dividends out of it. These events aren't Grand Slams; 5 matches to get a single point is utterly moronic and almost ENCOURAGING burnout for unranked players.
