Hanescu had a comfortable 6-2 6-3 win over Alberto Martin in the opening round. He's very tall (6'6) and is currently ranked 35 which is a career high for him. His one title was won on the clay at Gstaad and he also made the final at Bucharest.
He typically get a very high first serve percentage (average 70%) but with limited penetration (65%). His success rate on 2nd serve is far more impressive (55% compared to Andy's 54%).
This season he made the QF at Casablanca beating Darcis and Navarro before losing to Ferrero 3-6 5-7. His form on hardcourt in 2009 was unimpressive.
So long as Andy gets a reasonable percentage of first serves in play and serves aggressively, he should have too much for Hanescu. If however, he is down in the low 50s or even high 40s, then it could be a real struggle to get the victory.
3rd match on centre on Tuesday.

Despite the tournament schedule showing R2 matches beginning on Wednesday, Andy's match is on tomorrow. 3rd match on the main court, with the first starting at 10.30am (9.30 am in the UK). Guessing about 1pm?
Blimey, the first match didn't take long, Monfils self-destructed! I hope that Simon v Beck takes a bit longer, as I have to pop out and might miss the start of Andy's match if they are too quick. 1pm might be a bit optimistic (or pessimistic for me).
Maybe not, Beck a break up in the second now (3-1), although there have been breaks a plenty in this match.
I'm going for Andy in straights as well, this is a good match up for him in his first match. Testing but not too tough. I hope he can adapt to clay as Fed did after his indifferent start on it!
Fed's game against Seppi will be interesting as well. He looked in great form last round.
Is there a live stream anywhere?
