Congrats Dan, another strong showing would do his ranking good ;)

Good win for Cox and he seems to be continuing his good recent form - he should win again today so another decent result for him as he looks to be moving up the rankings nicely.

I would have thought he has a decent shot at a qualifying WC a MD one might be a strecth too far.

I can only see 1 player getting a MD WC at the moment and thats Dan Evans. Goodall might get one. Boggo no.

I assume the last but one post was referring to my post on the previous page, in which case yes, he may well have been referring to a QWC for Wimby - that would have meant the journo only leaving one word out. LOL

QF: (SE) Dan Cox WR 698 v (Q) Dennis Blömke (GER) WR 831

Blömke's only previous singles match against a Brit was against Fleming in Greece last September - Colin won 3-6 7-5 6-0, a won 1st set - lost tight 2nd - collapsed in the 3rd combo to rival Boggo at his worst a few years back!

However, as you can see in one of the fishy posts above, he did stuff Metenier 4 & 2 today!

Great chance of another semi final now after the results today, which would get Cox another SE which would help him out again.

Can't see him not beating Blomke to be honest if he plays like he has done in recent weeks.
