Aucks plays with Travis Rettemairer (USA), who has won titles in Wolfsburg (w/Skupski) and Jersey (w/Booty) already this year. They are the 3rd seeds and face the wild card pairing of Andrea Arnaboldi & Messimo Dell'acqua (ITA) in the first round.

Can anyone explain to me why the Monza site claims to offer live scores when there very clearly aren't any? Aucks' & Rettenmaier's match against da Col & "Stoppers" was scheduled for 10.30 BST on the centre court today, but there's still no sign of a result!

Finally, we have a result - & it's a good 'un: Aucks & Rettenmaier move serenely into the SF with a 3 & 4 win over the Italians. Another unseeded Italian pair, Daniele Giorgini & Filippo Volandri (at least I've heard of him! ), the conquerors of the French top seeds (Charroin & Tourte) in the first round, next...
Aucks & Rettenmaier (3) first match on CC tomorrow. Due off at noon, local time. Best of luck.
If I'm reading the LS correctly from the Monza site, it would seem that Aucks & Rettenmaier have beaten the Italians 6-2 6-7(4) [11-9]. They'll be playing the Czech No 2 seeds in the final. The Czech pair having had a very easy passage, winning 1&2.

Good week so far for Aucks and hopefully he can end up winning the title - and get back towards the top 100 and join the other Brits who look to be on the rise in doubles.
I was really pleased to receive the news of the Aucks' latest title win over the Easter weekend. Really pleased for him, too. I see his ranking's gone up 18 places to 157 as a result.
