Super win for Katie. And in true Katie style too.

Katie has now won more points than Anne this season. Though her highest score to date is just 60 compared to Anne's 2 scores of 130 for reaching semis of international events.

Beating Rezai would be worth an additional 40 points. While Katie is very much on course for a place in the top 100, she still needs one or two big scores at some point.

not a bad effort, and certainly another encouraging week with a great fight against Arvidsson and a decent display against a very good player. Rezai looked utterly dominant in the first two rounds, so for Katie to push her at all suggests she was playing very well indeed.
