Having no idea how wild cards, junior exempt status works can anyone shed a light on the following questions. 1. Does a junior exempt entry count as a wild card? 2. If so how many wild cards can a 15 y/o use in a year? 3. If not how many junior exempts plus wild cards are you allowed in a year?

as the #5 ranked junior at the end of 2008, Laura gets 2 JE's into 25ks and 1 into a 50k. I think.
She will be allowed 3 WC's untill she turnes 16. I expect wimbledon to be one of them.
So Laura will have 3 wc's and 3 JE leaving her 4 tournaments she can enter before her 16th birthday with her ranking alone.
So does that mean in total she can enter 10 tournaments (3 as JE, 3 as WC and 4 as other) - that is quite a few tournaments given that she has yet to play a senior event this year. Do we have any idea if she will play this many tournaments?
If she isn't intending on playing the French Juniors she may turn up in Surbiton too
If Laura does turn up in Surbiton then she'll need to pay more attention in Geography lessons
I doubt whether she will be in Nottingham as she has stated in interviews her intention to play the junior grand slams this year (other than Wimbledon). This Belgian event looks like the starting point for her clay court season, culminating in Roland Garros.
She might also be starting the tournament with an extra confidence boost from becoming junior #1, as Noppawan has 122.5 points to defend the previous week and, given her age, probably will be concentrating on the women's tour now.
As far as I'm aware you pick your JEs at the start of the year and they can't be changed.
That's my understanding too. In fact if you look at http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/pdf/original/IO_39067_original.PDF you can see what happened to all the JEs awarded last year, and Kurumi Nara for example withdrew from one of hers for a medical reason, with no alternative offered. About half ended up not being required (got in under own ranking) or used.
Also according a poster on GB tennis girls she is down for a G1 event starting on 20th April in France on the clay, although the withdrawal deadline is on Monday so we will have to wait until to then to see if the injury is healed.
