RE: Weeks 12-13 - ATP 1000 Series - Miami, USA

Ross is back playing with Huss next week in Houston. I am sure their recent parting was one of necessity rather than choice. I hugely doubt this will be on channelsurfing.net, or any other live stream, TV are not even covering the womens matches this week never mind the doubles!

Thanks wolf. smile I see that Huss & Fisher have reached the SFs, beating their opponents 6-4 3-6 [10-6]. Hope H&K can do the same. please.gif Pity they dropped the 1st serve, though.

Ross is broken for the second time after two double faults and they lose the first set 6-3.

It must have been - Knowle and Melzer are a decent doubles team but have had a very average season so far, but seem to have finally got it together.

Bit of a shame that they lost so easily, but it must have been one of those days were nothing really went right for them, but another quarter final is still a good result (and Huss into the semis is good news as well for their collective ranking)

And he & Fisher have only just gone and beat the Bryans bros, the two time defending champions, top seeds and world no.1 pairing 7-6(6), 6-4 to reach the final!!!

Well, that's some result for those two. An unseeded pair to take the title. smile Hope it doesn't mean the end of the H&H partnership.cry Now if Max & Ram get through their SF, there'll be a tenuous Brit connection in the final.wink

With Ross and Stephen both having great weeks they are at the stage where they might just squeeze into the 24 draw Masters Series tournaments together (a win for Stephen in the final and they are pretty much there). I'm hoping that Stephen doesn't decide to team up with Ash (no offence to him, he seems like a great guy but I'll support the Brit over him) permanently. They (Stephen and Ash) are close friends but never have teamed up together for a long period of time I think, but I am not sure Stephen will want to throw away all the hard work and promise he and Ross had just because of one good week with another player.

Wow.....

....stunning by Del Potro. For those of you that watched that on live stream you'll know what i mean; some of the biggest forehand winners from the Argentine that you'll see in a long time. I was supporting Nadal and by the end i got taken by Del Potro. He deserved that for his determination and confidence in his ability to challenge Nadal despite their previous encounters.

Massive semi-final test for Murray or Verdasco.
