No Brit has reached a Challenger semi on clay since the start of 2005, but before that it's a case of guessing which players might have done it then checking, so I might have missed someone.

Probable last Brit to reach a clay court Challenger ...

Q-F : Martin Lee, Telde 2006
S-F : Alan Mackin, Aschaffenburg 2004
WIN: Tim Henman, Seoul 1995 (*)

(*) probably the last GB finalist in a clay Challenger too

They had a good FO last year, so hopefully they can continue to do well on the clay

I have just noticed a certain former top 50 player (now unranked) is lurking very low down on the alternate list for Turkey. It would be a crying shame if he didn't get in, wouldn't it? pray.gif

I agree - although if he fancied a WC for the main draw, or at the very least for qualifying, I can't imagine it being turned down.

Go right down to the bottom of the alternate list for qualifying and you should recognise the name.

He's the man who at one period of time seemed to draw Boggo every week smile

Boggo currently 9th ranked player in Baton Rouge so could do with a withdrawal from Top 8

No it won't - therfore disregard what I just said! Already updated his ranking to 179 in my rankings but ATP won't be so quick!
