at this rate Flembo will be GB no2 soon in the ' GB points Race'
certianly it seems the break has done him good. i think the grind can get to you. lets hope he ends rRberts run (although it would probably mean robert will start another one next week in Jersey )

Fingers, toes, eyes, knees and anything else possible crossed for Colin tomorrow. . . I really took to him over the DC weekend and would love to see him succeed.
(Of course, that doesn't mean that I don't want the other Brits to succeed as well, but knowing a bit more about a player does give that added interest)
I think it was probably because the Hoose mentioned a number <= 500. I don't blame him of course - since I believe he lives in France, I imagine the FFT sent round a posse to ambush him and threatened that Gicquel or Llodra would come round and take terrible revenge if he didn't find a way to make sure Robert won.
Or maybe Robert just knows how to turn it on against the GB players when the chips are down. (sadly, that explanation sounds more plausible than the first one)

Shame, still a great week for Colin and I hope to see him move up to the challenger level very soon. I wonder if Skupski will follow him for the doubles partnership or will stay down and work on his singles.

I think Ken has made it perfectley clear in the past he sees his future in doubles. I think it is more of a case of if Colin will follow Ken into the doubles specialist path rather than the other way around. After Jersey they are not on any futures lists I think so it looks like they will play challenger qualifying and main draw doubles.
