Great win for Ross and Andy, although almost all the teams left in the draw involve singles players, which must be very disheartening for all the doubles specialists.
To win so comfortably though must be great for them, and the confidence boost must be huge for Ross to be going deep in these bigger events and it will help his ranking as well, hopefully allowing him and Huss to play the 1000 series events (Huss won his first round match in Sunrise as well today)
Impressive win. It must be detriment to Andy and Ross' friendship that the former is eager to go deep in the dubs to help the latter rise up the rankings
I was trying to convey that Andy does not usually set aside so much of his efforts for doubles but he appears to be doing so in this instance. And I pondered whether that was due to the friendship between him and Ross.
Regardless of whether you agree or not, does that make any more sense?

I wonder whether you meant "testament to" their friendship (and possibly to the detriment of brotherly love between the Murrays )

Ross has such a good self belief. Its not fluke that he can turn things around after defeat.
I think that Ross has the better all round game than Jamie.
Despite being both an AM and a JM.commer, i have to agree with you. Some of Ross's reflexes at net were so impressive during DC, his serve is pretty strong and his returns are improving, if he needs to learn to mix it up e.g. learn the Cara Black "dink" return
