I didn't get any tickets for the Roof event........
Pretty upset really as I'd have loved to see those 4 players in action. I was online for over an hour but just nothing and I tried phoning too. A few people I know got 1 or 2 tickets but many more were in the same boat as me with nothing to show for our efforts.
Seems some people are already selling them on e-bay with up to £350/pair of tickets being bid. Way beyond my means.......
Sorry to hear that. It's hard to believe that so many tickets sold so quickly and strange that the 'crooks' always manage to get them, it makes you wonder about the integrity of ticketmaster doesn't it?
I got 4 tickets but it was ridiculous how quickly they sold. The phone lines were a complete waste of time. I rang nearly 100 times with no luck. 15,000 in 15 minutes is mental
I don't think there were anywhere near 15000 tickets on sale - I reckon the CC debenture holders got free seats (fair enough, they funded the roof), possibly the C1 debenture holders too, a thousand or so more to assorted nobs and that maybe left only a couple of thousand to go on public sale. People who did get tickets seemed to be getting row Y and worse in the back section.

Richard Bloomfield (Gbr) bt Ludovic Walter (Fra) 6-3 7-6 (7-5),
Before this week, Mertens WR 297 (at CH) had faced Brits 4 times, losing the first one to David Sherwood then beating Myles Blake twice and Dan Cox once. He won Futures in Spain and Bulgaria (twice) last year and his best effort so far this year has been to reach the Final of France F1. He has only ever won one match in a Challenger main draw - that was against Sidorenko in Mons last year, where he went out to Santoro in R2.

Row Q's the best I've heard so far apart from someone on AM.com who got a seat two rows from the front, which was probably only available because the Duke of wherever had been offered a ticket and found he had something else on.

I could have gone today as I got to college to find out the day was cancelled but then some of us decided to go out for a meal and I didn't want be unsocialable and be a loner at a tennis event LOL.
@ Bloomers. I'm still holding out hope for wins for both Evans and Minar.
Evans beat Yani 6-3, 6-4!! Cracking win against a guy who won a challenger last year. He will face Robert who was taken to three sets by Minar but won 5-7, 6-4, 6-1.
Still looking like a Bloomers - Robert final on form.
Great result againt the WR 237 (is that his best so far?)!
Mr Robert next, can Dan buck the brit-bashing trend?
SF: D Evans 457 vs S Robert 281 SF: R Bloomfield 310 vs Y Mertens 299
Great win for Evo, which follows up the good win that Bloomers had as well, and hopefully at least one of them can go on and reach the final.
Yeah, that is Evans's best win by a long way - before this the only top 400 player he had beaten was Alex Slabinsky, and had only beaten a handful of top 500 players, so it's a brilliant win for him.
You missed some good matches today wolf and Daisy !
Now as I expressed earlier the scheduling was crap, because Dan then has to turn round and play doubles when it could have been so much easier if he had played his singles match at 11.00

I presume that was because the organisers, in their infinite wisdom, wanted both the matches involving Brits on Court 5, but is there really that much difference between it & Court 6, where the other two QFs were played? Very unfair on him...
