Can Dan Cox stop Stéphane Robert from equalling his compatriot Jérémy Blandin's best ongoing streak of 13 Brit bashes? Somehow I doubt it, but where there's hope ...

I took a look at Sieber's playing history today. He does often get beaten by some players ranked far below him. Also, his current ranking seems to be based on doing very well in two events, rather than an average good performance over the year. So I think Evo has quite a good shot at beating him.
Tomorrow I'll either be thinking, "I told you so" or "what do I know about anything".
Firstly sorry about the sudden stop in texts - I put £10 on my phone this morning and it just doesn't seem to have registered at all which I reaslised halfway through. Also sorry about the confusion in Jonny's match. I really don't know why I put Jonny was 2-4 down but at no point did he lose his serve so he couldn't have been. Whether it was 6-3 or 6-4 in the second set I can't remember though.
Bloomers, Jonny, Coxy and Evans all looked pretty good today. Mug of the day (apart from the umpire doing O'Leary's match) is definately Smethurst though who somehow managed to get thrashed by Bains - no tactical brain at all.
Can definately see Evans beating Seiber tomorrow not much chance for Coxy though unless he serves like a dream because I can't see his game matching up well to Robert's. The less said about Bains' chances the better tbf. Bloomers v Jonny who knows I suppose...
Thanks wolf, the report is an excellent read. And yes, we'll forgive you ('love' might be going a bit too far )
It would be good to get Evo and one of the two 'over the hill' boys through to the QFs - it would obviously take a minor miracle for either of the other two to make it.
This event is horribly strong for a 15K when you think that there's a similar Future on as close as Lille this week. I imagine it's the dearth of Challengers this year that is concentrating everyone in tournaments like this.
