Illingworth's loss makes Fitzy's loss to the same player look a lot more respectable. Sadly, that's Matt's 6th loss in a row, a run which started when he lost to Stéphane Robert in the QFs in Sheffield after Matt showed so much promise by getting a couple of shock wins against Marray & Qureshi.

What's worse, during this 6-match slump, Matt hasn't managed to win more than 3 games in any of the 12 sets and has been fed bakery products in 8 of those sets.  I wonder what went wrong so suddenly?

Aha, just heard from Sally (AM.com) in Tipton - the Wolf's new phone is out of credit so she's texting me - I can give her seagull's number if necessary, but the updates aren't that frequent so I should be able to cope.
