I'm impressed that Fitzy took a set off the former world no. 253!

What a rubbish draw. Only Brits I can see beating a non-Brit are Cox and maybe Milton because Pritchard, O'Leary, Priddle and Illingworth have next to no chance. Would love to see Priddle win though and he must be riding high on confidence now. On the all Brit clashes I am backing Evans, Smethurst, Skupski and Marray.
Looking at the OOP I wish they would put the all-Brit matches on one side out of the way it would make life a whole lot easier!
Anyway @ James are you still coming? and @ Steven (or anyone else that wants to volunteer) is it OK if I text you updates?
Wolf: Unfortunately not - schedule is just overflowing with uni-work/part time job. I might be able to make it down for Thursday, I'd assume that there would still be a full days OOP at that point (to make it worth the trip)?
Its great to read your post match summary and good to hear how positive you remain.
Jack Busby is a good junior who trains at the Loughborough academy along with Josh Poullet and George Morgan who were also in qualies. Dave O'leary also trains at Loughborough and has been given a MD wildcard.
The LTA are running SIX courts and will play ALL Singles and Doubles 1st round matches on Tuesday. - Compare this with the French Challenger last week where only two courts were used initially and later only one, it is unfortunate for those entering both singles and doubles.
Thanks for the OOP. I may go up to this tomorrow since there are plenty of Brits in action. Depends on catching up with zzz's post DC weekend. It'd be good to say hi to anyone else there from BT - just look out for the ancient spectator!
Not the best draw for the Brits, with there not being the greatest chance that any of the Brits can beat their non-British opponent, except maybe for Cox and Milton and Illingworth.
I'd expect Bloomers, Marray, Smethurst, and Evans to come through their matches, and maybe one or two other Brits as well to win, but with the strength of the draw, it's going to be tough for anyone to pick up lots of points here.
