RE: Week 10 - Futures F3 (15k) - Tipton, Great Britain

Nathaii is famous for several things, one is running the Tennis Alternative website, another is for stalking tennis players. (i am sure she is the reason Delgado goes to Wroclaw each year without fail) and a personal one for me - how she serves esperesso in the mornings wink.gif

oh and she posts here occasionally.

She's been Nathaliia from Somaliia before (or something like that) so I wouldn't pay too much attention to what nationality it says she is on MTF. LOL

There's no wonder why people don't go and watch tennis in the UK, if Wolf and Portsey are indicative of your general tennis fan, who'd want to sit/stand next to them? (can't wait for all the squares to say "me") Wolfie with his scraggy hair and head burried in his notes scribbling away whilst guys are playing tennis.

Sorry Wolf but i'm not linked to any of the players at Tipton, it was just you really got my goat with your crap when you said Busby was the best player you'd ever played but he is actually rated and ranked below the other guys! You only had a good word for the guy that beat YOU!

If the LTA want more people to play and also watch tennis then it has to get rid of the square image that it has, if it doesn't then your stuck with the blue rinse brigade, scraggy squares taking notes and whole classes of kids let off school for the day and their entry fee waivered!

P.s Remember Henman? they didn't come any squarer then him.

It's Wolf's opinion who was the best player there, he didn't see much of the others anyway

What drivel. The wolf wasn't taking notes, he was writing from memory (as he says himself in one of his reports), that's why his memory of things may not have been perfect, as he freely admitted.

The fact that Busby is rated/ranked below the other guys doesn't stop him from being the best player Wolf has ever played, does it? (remember, he hasn't played the other players on your list, so he's not implying that Busby is better than them)

Also, why is it a big surprise that Wolf had more to say about the player he had actually played against than about the players he hadn't played against? It's not as if he's being paid to be a journalist and give a completely balanced account of every different player (else he would have been the guy with the notebook you describe ... and not that paid journos do that either - it'd be a bit boring if they did), he's just giving his take on the day and concentrating most on the bits he actually experienced. That's pretty much what we all do on here, it's called being a tennis fan.

Nobody who's had a go at you is saying you shouldn't have your own opinion, but those who have had a go at you can all see that you're just trying to snipe at Wolf for the sake of it, and that doesn't make you look as clever as you seem to think it does.

I'm not even going to dignify that with a response.
