Bally has pulled out of Jersey. Pretty weak GB line up there with the likes of Stoop and Cavaday prefering to play elsewhere

Bloomers has made the Main Draw in Jersey

Feaver pulls out of a futures yet again - must be a pretty bad injury to keep him out this long

Can Colin get the SE this week?

I would guess the WCs would go to Eaton, Fleming, Cox and Evo, though Evo isn't on the entry list so he might be a doubt

No, you can't get an SE for a Challenger by going deep into a Future. At least three of those would be my guesses for WCs too.

Who on earth are they going to give it to then? If Miami wasn't next week, id probably say Ross Hutchins! (next you're going to say you can't get it for doubles either no)

SEs for doubles ... now there's a novel idea!

I have no idea who they're keeping the place open for - it would have to be someone who's still in a Challenger in the same region (i.e. Caltanissetta or Marrakech, both of which are ull of clay court specialists) or, since there is no Challenger in the Americas this week, someone who is still playing in Bogota or in Sunrise.

Of those who are ranked lower than Bloomers and are still playing this week there is:

Noam Okun - in Bangkok, so surely not eligble for the SE
Rabie Chaki - in Marrakech, so elgible
Diego Alvarez - in Bogoto, so not eligble.

Can't see Chaki playing, although it wouldn't be a total surprise if he did accept the SE if he beats Sidorenko today, just because he can really.

WC's will surely go to Fleming, Eaton, Evans (who probably didn't enter as he knew his ranking would be too low) and probably Cox.

Chaki lost today so SE should clear now

Thanks FD, I was too lazy to check those out. No, Boggo can breathe a sigh of relief - there's another Challenger in Region 3 (east Asia/Oceania) next week (it's even in the same country - Korat), so Okun can't turn up in Jersey to torment him!

And in fact the SE has now cleared (as well as Galvani pulling out) so Ebdon and Minar are in.
