RE: Jersey Challenger Entry List

Yes, the week 46 Jersey Challenger last year was infamous for Masta K and Ken & the Phlegm. I get the feeling this time it might be a bit less eventful.

Yes, QS draw today ... and (make sure you're sitting down safely before you read this, wouldn't want you to keel over) possible live scores from the LTA during the week.

For non-GB fans, the most notable thing about this Challenger is probably the return of Pim Pim Johansson and the biggest ever gathering of Brit-bashers anonymous. ashamed

Aww, bashers because France is so close? Yeah ATP already announces livescores from Jersey, which is very unique. I would come to pillow fight you during DC, but if it was in London and not a random place in Scotland.

Well no, they'd come over anyway, but the LTA like to make it as easy for them as possible, hence holding half of our Challengers in Jersey this year. It doesn't make much difference to Nielsen and Minar.

* gets on the phone to JL and demands that it's held at Wimby or Queen's * smile

P.S. You have permission to say no if the Count asks you to bring him breakfast on the Saturday morning. ashamed

Masta K is infamous for his "To you in Russia, horns on would beat off!!! Rams... The Rage does not suffice on you!!!" when he thought we were deliberately withholding live scores from him.

The second one is obvious if you think about it.

Now about this, I have a theory....this Jersey Challenger is a) nearer France than England and b) promising livescores. As a result, it cannot possibly be a British challenger and therefore all the brit-bashers who habitually come to England and bash brits will all meet their come-uppance and fail to bash any brits. biggrin.gif How's that for logic? This is clearly the reason why the LTA have decided to hold half our challengers in Jersey and rather than being the rather bizarre and foolish decision we all first thought, it is in fact a stroke of genius and clearly shows the reason why the lta run British tennis and we dont! wink.gif

You had a hilarious thread last year, beats any sort of crap from MTF, maybe except "you trate our country" - the Ukrainian one ;)

It's ok, I can prepare the breakfast for Count, I prefer to act in the kitchen myself before I am given some British breakfast containing beans, bacon and other specialties. It's good you have Polish food in those Indian shops in UK hahaha.

We have a better class of troll on here. smile.gif

There's Polish food everywhere here these days - I'm not sure if that affects the specialist Polish shops badly (because nobody needs to go to them any more) or well (because it increases interest in Polish food among the Brits)

I think it's probably not the cooked breakfast the Count is worried about, but I'll stop digging with that one before I get into trouble. smile.gif

P.S. I think Bethan may definitely be onto something there!

Polish shops are expensive comparing to many other shops, so probably nobody visits them any longer lol. I can have a deal with Count, I deliver him breakfast in the morning if he delivers me an interesting night beforehead.

Geez, I misbehave here more than on MTF.

It's ok, I can make one more breakfast *blush*... but that's it. I am not starting a restaurant.
