I believe Miss Moore has undoubted potential and has been suffering from a huge lack of confidence. So eventhough georgie should win this match part of me thinks this could be a turnaround tournament for the australian. I hope I'm wrong.

Nice win there for Georgie,
Draw has really opened up now, 3 qualifiers in the quarters and only the 6th and 8th seeds are left in!
QF: Georgie Stoop WR 192 v Q PLISKOVA, Karolina (CZE) WR 445
PLISKOVA is a 16 year old, these are her first wins above a 10k (she won one last year), apart from a couple of wins on clay at a T4 last year.
You would think it would fairly easy for Georgie.
Likely to play 6th seed if she wins.

Sorry just noticed
PANOVA (RUS) / POUTCHEK (BLR) (2) defeated MOORE (AUS) / STOOP (GBR) 7-5 7-5
Not a great day for Moore, sounds close though!

Thats dissapointing i thought Georgie could get the final at least here. But some more points on the board and possibly another career high ranking.
She need tos keep gaining points in the 1st half of the year as she has barely anything to defend untill after wimbledon.

Georgie seems to be a momentum player. She did so well last summer/early autumn then not really made any progress since.
