Alex plays for the county Northants, when he was a junior didnt have the biggest game, he never really pushed on as a junior playin next to none (if any) ITFS. Going back further than that to under 10 and under 12 he had a spell where he was the best junior in the country.
Since then havin seen him play recently he has really pushed on, he has a big serve and forhand with solid other shots aswell, he has very good volleys and hands, and in the past has been a very good doubles player.
He trained with his dad Richard Ward who is the head coach at Northants Tennis, untill he went to Spain within the last couple of years which seems to have been a very successful decision. He was never one for fitness and struggles with that side of things but really seems to have bulked up and has good stamina, the only negative that i could possibly take about his game is that he can sometimes be very hit and miss.

... makes sense and was fairly obvious from his results last year, but he must have developed some consistency to have scored points so many weeks in a row.
