Skups & Rettenmaier beat Bozo & Jenkins by 1 & 2. They play the top seeds, Bubka & Kudryavtsev (UKR/RUS), in the final on Sunday.
* Nice picture of Ken beside what appears to be a stone (???) wolf on page 3 of today's news section on the site + story of how it could be his second Wolfsburg doubles final (obviously written before the result was known ), as last year he appeared in it alongside Bloomers, only to be beaten by Izak van der Merwe & Carsten Ball (RSA/AUS, if memory serves). Make it second time lucky, Ken!
P.S. The caption under the photo says that he happily switched [footie] club allegiances while it was taken, although he's a big fan of Liverpool, which is natural, as that's where he was born [& the wolf statue, of course, represents the German club, Vfl Wolfsburg].
Well spotted! There's an odd headline at the top of today's news section too:
"Verletzung stoppt Frauenschwarm" - i.e. "Injury stops swarm of women"
It goes on to explain that in his home country (i.e. Serbia), where tennis is one of the biggest sports, he's well known for his numerous affairs with beautiful women. Amazing the useless trivia these Germans know about the players ("hello Kettle, my name's Pot, may I call you Black?" ), and may explain why he's still at Challenger level.

Skups has done rather better today in the tennis than his home city team did against mine in the footie yesterday ( ): the fourth seeds toppled the top seeds in straight sets, 3 & 4! s
Well done to Ken on winning the doubles title here, and it does look like he is beginning to build a good career as a doubles player, which unfortunately will come to the detrement of his singles efforts.
I guess he'll be looking to push towards the top 100-150 this year, before possibly making a proper go of the doubles tour next season.

Been checking the rankings: Ken has moved up eight places to 206th in the world, which makes him the British N° 6, Josh up five to 195th (Brit N° 5) &, just for the record in DC week, Colin up eight to 289th (N° 8).
