True, plus up to 7 qualifying WCs (I assume it's 7, given that there are 41 on the Q list and it's a 48 Q draw) - if they get given out, at least some of them are likely to go to players just above wolf and if they don't get given out, it'll create extra places for those on the Alt list, so he's virtually there.

Having not tracked someone on a Q alt list before, I've never noticed quite how much these lists shrink, it's been interesting.

 

Looks like Jamie and Vemic would not have made the cut playing together so have different partners here. Unlikely Ross will make it?

7 of the top 10 on the main draw Alt list for Tipton are now Brits (the other 3 are all Czech, by some odd coincidence) and Wolf is still gradually getting closer to being able to play in qualifying - he is now up to 11th on the Q alt list.

I fear the tournament itself may be an anti-climax compared to all this excitement
