Surprised not to see Boggo enter considering that he has always played IW/Miami qualies, and with him not playing a challenger that week as well, it seems as if he's in line for another week off (or maybe more, as he surely isn't going to fly out for Sunrise qualies and then Miami qualies on their own, or go to Thailand for one week and then come back for Jersey)
He's taking a lot of weeks off to start the year it seems, but hopefully will pay dividend at the end of the year.
I've just entered Tipton, hopefully I will get in. It's a 48 qualifying so at least I won't draw one of the seeds and get completely humilated if I do get in.
Entrants are just the usual suspects but George Morgan is there which is good to see. Stephane Robert is there though as priority one though unfortunately.
I'll try and get down and watch when I can as well I should be there on the Tuesday which is the first day of the main draw, maybe the Wednesday afternoon as well and the final if there is British interest.
alex is trying to make sure the tournaments he goes to he is feeling fully fit and ready, last year he entered too many events where he felt too tired at the start and wants to try and ensure that doesnt happen again. he was also totally burnt out at the end of the year and wants to try avoid that. i think he is also trying to minimise the amount of travel where possible.
The early season calendar isn't making that too easy mind, however i think he is starting to realise that you only need 18 good weeks over the year.
lets hope it pays off

Excellent wolf, and good luck, hope you do get in! Of course, you can't just turn up and enter qualifying this year, can you, though I guess at least means you'll know in advance if it's worth turning up or not.

Good luck in your attempt - the target is 15 points to win (I think that's what I got anyway)
Annoyingly there doesn't appear to be an Exmouth Futures event on the calender at the moment, and with nothing in London yet, there's nothing that's feasible for me to enter.
We should try to arrange a match at some point, but no idea when we will both be able to play
Wolf - Assuming that you've been before, what are the viewing facilities like at the Tipton tennis complex? At the moment, due to missing Sheffield, I hope to be there for Tuesday/Wednesday morning.

There are six indoor courts with a balcony splitting them down the middle so viewing is no problem. See you there hopefully!
I am 97th alt currently hopefully that will go up a bit by the withdrawal deadline next week. I'm not sure what criteria they use to sort the alternates but I have never played any senior tournaments affiliated with the LTA so I have no national senior ranking (and no junior ranking as I am no longer a junior).
