Boys: Copa Milo - Chile Deportes, Santiago - Grade 2 (Week 7)

There's a strong group of 1992 boys joining Paul Brown here, but Ashley Hewitt and Paul have to overcome two of the top seeds to reach round 2. Paul's opponent won one of the recent Grade 2s in Ecuador.

(1) Hiroyasu Ehara (JPN) v Ashley Hewitt (GBR)
(11) James Marsalek (GBR) v (WC) Francisco Gidi (CHI)
(Q) Francisco Meza (CHI) v Jack Carpenter (GBR)
Lewis Burton (GBR) v (WC) Victor Morales (CHI)
Paul Brown (GBR) v (3) Facundo Arguello (ARG)
(15) Nick Jones (GBR) v (WC) Marcello Dino Guzman Costanzi (CHI)

Jack did not play any ITFs between the start of June and December, so I guess you are right about the injury. His record in 2007 was I think the best out of the 1992s. Anyway better news from him (and James) in the doubles:

Doubles SF

(1) EHARA (JPN) / SEKIGUCHI (JPN) Vs (8) CARPENTER (GBR) / MARSALEK (GBR)
