I wouldn't be overly suprised if we only saw Slabba into R2 though.

That acted as the kiss of life for Wardy (see above) and the kiss of death for Slabba:


L32 Q2: (5) Alex Slabinsky WR 335 lost to Roman Jebavy (CZE) WR 429 by 6-3 7-5(6) bleh (or so says the Trento scorecard - I'm guessing 7-6(5) in the 2nd)

Wardy will play qualifier Yann Marti from Switzerland in R2.

We really should stop making predictions about British players!!!

Good win for Ward, and hopefully he'll be able to have a good run here, but a disappointing loss for Slabba after the encouraging first week of the season he had - he just needs to get some wins from somewhere.
