At 4-4 they break on the sudden death point (Aucks return to feet, Brands lobbed volley, Aucks smash and easy drop volley for Brands) and then Brands served it out with ease and they win 6-1, 6-4. Easily the better team.

They got the break at 4-4, and then served out the match for a 6-1, 6-4 victory.

Good win for the boys, and the match against the 4th seeds should be a decent contest if they play like this.

No order of play for tomorrow yet, but Boggo will surely be in action - ideally first on court in the evening session as I'm busy during the middle of the day.

Just for the record, Brands is the eighth seed in the singles & despatched ERV quite comfortably by 3 & 4 yesterday. wink

 Good win for the guys. nod.gif 4th-seed conquerors of Boggo & Rochus next for them. Could be a tad more difficult than today. I wasn't able to watch the LS, but Aucks used to sport a bandanna (if that helps?).smile Nice to see so much interest in a doubles match.wink

I swear Aucks has a different appearance I see him to be fair! We all knew which one he was I think but then the live score said ace Auckland on a Brands ace to completely throw us!

Boggo is first up on Court 3 against Ouanna at 11am GMT while Aucks/Brands play Kohlmann/Marx 5th on the same court.

I always work on the theory that if you can spot which player has been dragged onto court backwards through a hedge, it's bound to be Aucks. smile.gif

Good hold for Boggo there...

I'm not going to be able to see the whole of the match before I go, so I'm trusting that the realplayer download that you can do will work - never done it before so don't know what will happen, but hopefully there will be a Boggo match to watch later when I get back
