Yes, lucky Bastl getting Dammit's seeded place in the draw!
Bolelli is not the best of the draws Richard could have got, that's for sure, but Boggo took a set off him at Wimby last year and though I think Bolelli has improved since then, the kind of form Bloomers showed in the 1st set against Gonzo at Queen's would be enough to give the Italian lots of trouble.
Also, Richard's serving must be on fire at the moment given how convincingly he came through qualifying, so while I don't expect him to win, there's got to be at least a little hope (the Vandenburg 'kiss of death' notwithstanding ) and with the 12 points secured for qualifying, Richard has got something tangible out of this tournament already (in addition to the match practice and the confidence boost), so there's no pressure on him and anything else would be a huge bonus.

Great win for Bloomers today, and he definately looks to be some of his best form for a long time at the moment, and winning without dropping serve is definately encouraging.
Bolelli isn't the best draw he could have got, but if Bloomers is serving as well as it seems, he'll have a chance, because Bolelli is frankly a pathetic returner, so hopefully Bloomers can force a couple of tiebreaks and go from there.
Well done to Bloomers for qualifying - just the sort of result to provide inspiration to others that they can make ATP main draws outside the grass court season.
