nice to see someone put a positive spin on Richard's efforts in Marseille
Thanks for spotting that link goldfish - I'll make sure Rich knows about it, afterall it must be pretty depressing to play 4 matches for no points and very little dosh, so nice to know that someone noticed.
It wasn't that bad, he got 12 points! (I know it's very British to lose in the FQR, get a LL place then go out in R1 and end up with no points at all, but Rich did actually qualify )

"Ranking is not only relevant to english players, but also to all tennis players. The rule applies to all. For K to think othertwise, it is entirly how she plays her game. There was a time serena was ranked 84 or so before Australian open and she can off it to clinch the open. If Mis K can't emulate that then she has to improve her game from being 50 to no1.. This is not a difficult task but mental preparation. She can ask the williams sisters how they made it. If they were British they will only be happy to be ranked 50 and it become a press big headline. english sport are a problem to themselves a slong as they believe the press is the master"
Can anyone even begin to decipher that?
I'll try and start:
1) Going from 50 to 1 in the world is "not a difficult task"
2) Serena won the Aussie Open whilst ranked 84 in the world so therefore everyone else should be able to do this when ranked at a similar level.
3) The press is the master (No, I have no idea either)
