Muzza may have withdrawn here but there is still some British interest - not a bad QR1 draw, but there are no points unless you win three matches in qualifying here:
QR1: Richard Bloomfield WR 323 v Massimo Dell'acqua (ITA) WR 419
The seeds in this section are (7) Falla WR 193 and (1) Istomin WR 103.
Richard is 1st up on Court 1 at 08.00 GMT tomorrow. I get the feeling he doesn't like mornings, so that could be a bit of a struggle!

Rich does dislike early starts and this was an 8.00 am start for him as he only flew out yesterday but serving 15 Aces, 97% first serves won and 69% 2nd serve in a match that lasted 56 mins seems as if he coped well. Richards only other meeting with Del'acqua they were on the same side of the net as doubles partners at Lanzarote challenger in 2006.
Good win for Bloomers, especially if he only flew out yesterday.
It will Guez in the next round after he upset Falla in 3 sets, but the good news is that he hadn't won a match before this event, having already had four bakery products in three matches dished out to him!
Well her's hoping he can get through Guez and into the final round, you never know what will happen, an unlikely stroke of luck may occur (I have the boys on the way to see My Istomin as we speak.......)
QR1: Richard Bloomfield WR 323 beat Massimo Dell'acqua (ITA) WR 419 by 3 & 4
QR2: Richard Bloomfield WR 323 v David Guez (FRA) WR 281 (CH: 153 in 6/2007)
Great to see Bloomers get a win under his belt, even if a policy of only winning when there are no points on offer seems worrying Eaton-like. Guez had a long 3-setter against no. 7 seed Falla today, but unfortunately with only two courts available and 8 QR1 matches scheduled for each, they won't be playing QR2 until tomorrow.
Clearly beating Falla was a good result for Guez, but Falla isn't renowned for being a good fast court player and Dan Cox took Guez to 3 sets in the Bressuire Future earlier this week, so there must be some hope for Bloomers!
On the other hand, that win against Dan gave Guez a 9-match Brit-bashing streak (the 6th best ongoing streak that I am aware of) since he was beaten by Jamie Delgado in September 2003 - since then he has got revenge on Del and beaten Tom Burn, the Skupster, Slabba (twice), Josh (twice), Marray and Cox. Don't let him get into double figures, Richard!
