The positive here, and it is a huge positive, is she has now deservedly entered the top 50, great job Anne.

In her actual interview she said:

Thats another little goal of mine Ive achieved and Im sure with better performances my ranking will climb further, Keothavong said.

Right now I dont really have an explanation as to why I was so bad out there today. Its like anything, some days are good and some are just bad and today was more than bad.

I think this is a match to forget and Ill move on from it and go back to London to prepare for my next tournament at Indian Wells.

Yeah good to see that she's remaining positive, and she really should, I mean that's her second tour level SF of the year already, and only her 3rd ever so she has plenty of time to learn from it smile.gif

Didn't expect her to win but obviously one to forget. I like her attitude though. It shows how the mental side of her game has improved and she can take all the positives away from a good week. Anne might not get the better of the top girls very often but at least she knows that she belongs there in the top 100 and can compete with anyone outside of the top 30 say. A big well done to her for this week good luck for the upcoming bigger events in Indian Wells and Miami. Hope we get to see her on TV.

Bit of a beatdown but hope she comes back fighting even harder. I would like to see her go deep in Indian Wells and Miami, depends on her draw of course.

Would like to see her get a top 20 scalp in one of them
