Match presumably to be played on Thursday. They've met only once before, in the QF at Nottingham in 2006, so on grass, when Seppi ran out the winner 7-6(4) 4-6 6-1. A dangerous opponent, so not to be underestimated, which I'm sure Andy will not do, but surely one now well within his undoubted talents to overcome - though possibly not before he's taken to three...
And if he does, his possible selection of quarter-final opponents has changed. According to tomorrow's OOP Korolev is playing Gicquel, so it looks as though Soderling has pulled out, making the player from that section Gicquel/Korolev/Gasquet/Mathieu. Gasquet has just won the first set against Mathieu 6-3.
Seppi is one of those players who appears to have very little to their game yet seemingly have the ability to have a decent ranking and can trouble good players, but I'd be surprised if Murray lost this as I just don't really see what Seppi has to hurt him.
Murray should be able to come through this in straight sets without too much difficulty, although may be a bit tougher than today's match.

That must be a GEM of a match! Imagine the scene in the 3rd set as the chokes mount up:
RG: "Eh bah dis donc, c'est a toi le match!" PHM: "Mais non, vieux pote, c'est toi qui dois gagner, j'insiste!" RG: "Non, non, je ne veux pas te battre, voila je t'offre ce point" etc

And the first seed has bitten the dust (Söderling (8) doesn't count, as he withdrew with a lower back problem early enough for Marc Gicquel to be allowed in as a lucky loser!), significantly in Andy's half of the draw, though the other quarter: David Ferrer (6), beaten 2-6 6-3 2-6 by Mikhail Youzhny!
* I see Michael Llodra has done for Karlo in three tie-break-less sets in the top half of the draw...

Gicquel certainly made the most of his LL status: he's just beaten Korolev, who qualified by right, 3-6 6-3 6-2! I expect PHM to see him off in the next round, though.

Oops! Got that a bit wrong: Gicquel in two (4 & 3), so he'll be next up for Andy, if he survives the encounter with Seppi! Good job I don't indulge in "pick 'ems"!
* Interestingly, in the other quarter, Ancic has done for Gilles Simon (4) by 6-4 3-6 6-3, which means Andy's the only seed left in the bottom half! They're dropping like flies down there! He'd better beware...
