GB men's rankings v the other big western European countries

I noticed that Ross Hutchins, after his South African qualifying performance, had stormed from being unranked to GB's no 28 ( and world no. 1097 ).

GB has in total 26 players in the top 1000.

In comparison :

France :   73 players in the top 1000, 28th ranked is world no. 281.

Germany :   57 players in the top 1000,  28th ranked is world no. 432.

Italy :  57 players in the top 1000,  28th ranked is world no. 430.

Spain :   67 players in the top 1000,  28th ranked is world no. 313.

Way to go GB !!

LOL I'd rather have all of the GB Top 25 in the top 300 playing ATPs and Challengers! smile.gif

Very interesting stats though, it shows how important numbers in the top 1000 are if you want to pyramid more players up into the top 100.
