Sadly, Elena Baltacha seems to be yet another GB late withdrawal this week. It must have been a very last minute w/d too because someone has been moved up to no. 9 seed to take her place. Elena would have had a very kind draw too.

Naomi on form is the best of the current crop by a mile, she is a top 50 player in the making if she sorts herself out. Remeber though she is still a teenager.

If I were allowed one tennis wish (not counting Alize Cornet turning up on my doorstep with a 15" pizza and a Samurai Jack DVD box set) it would be for Naomi Cavaday to realise her potential. So I'm fourthing the above comment.
