The good thing about being a student is the lovely amount of time you get off - I'll definately be watching and cheering you on all the way!!!

Well done winner.gif  pity the sports question wasn't about tennis.  Good luck tomorrow.

Just adding my congratulations to you as well - although it was never in doubt really - you were a step ahead of the other contestants.

Good luck tomorrow and hopefully you can keep the winning run going and get some more money!

Would have to say though.... it did seem like a 20 minute program made to last 60 minutes...

Just pipped at the post today. Almost got there at the finish but ran out of time. Good effort. Well done - hope you enjoyed the experience and that the kids like the bus and t-shirt.

He won £2000 - £1000 per show. Apparently he still has a possibility of being involved in a champions match at some point.

I have SKY tv - for the tennis only, of course! We can get BBC1 and BBC2 on cable plus assorted other foreign channels depending on the commune.

Thanks for the support. i had a great time, everyone was really friendly. Sadly no tennis questions, th eguy i beat on wednesday was a maclagan, but no relation to miles that he knew of! I think it's the same theme tune, certainly sounded like it. As for Alex and the painful viewer questions, everyone i speak to seems to hate her, poor girl, awful job though, but she's a really nice person. I'd definitely recommend anyone else applying for shows, even if you don't win, they're still good fun.
I'll keep you posted if I get on the finals, they'd only just found out yesterday they'd been given the goahead so didn't really know any more details.

Well done for winning a couple of shows. smile.gif I haven't seen it since it came back (though I've heard the theme tune and it's definitely the same) but I remember the Euro-version in the 1980s where some of the Europeans spoke far more intelligible English than Henry Kelly - you could see the looks of complete incomprehension on their faces at times.
