Week 5 - Challenger (€106,500+H) - Wroclaw, Poland

L32: Alex Bogdanovic WR 185 v (4) Karol Beck (SVK) WR 140

H2H is 2-2 with Alex winning in Shrewsbury in 2007 and Cherbourg in 2008 while Beck won their matches in Surbiton 2004 and Kolding in 2008.

All to play for then...

Alex didn't practise today. Not sure if he arrived. If you have any questions to him, I'll try to ask, so feel free to pass.Beck is having a great week in Heilbronn, might be tired now, I'll convince the guys to bet on Alex, so this way he can have support!

Basically in the H2H Boggo won when Beck was regaining match fitness coming back from injury and Beck won when Beck was fully fit.

Horribly pessimistic but that's how I see it.

Do your best Nathii!

Boggo outstalked me today and made me blush, ffs. And later he hit Aucks with a backhand.

Alex was even more interested in Nathii than she was in him and his attention caused her to blush. (for F**k's sake).

Later on he hit a shot with his backhand that struck James Auckland

Beck isn't the greatest draw that Boggo could have got, but he has beaten him before, and the fact he got to the final last week could mean he may be a bit tired and so Boggo can take advantage of that.

Great turnround for Aucks & Aisam:  the LS had stuck when I left the office early because of the weather & the match stood at 3-6 4-4, but it seems they went on to take that second set on a tie-break (7-6(4)) & then the MTB & the match [10-8]! smile  clap.gif  Rehnqvist & Tveit (SWE/NOR - that should please Vandenburg! wink ) or Brands & Slanar (GER/AUT) in the QF...

Good win for Aucks and Quereshi, and it looks like a great comeback from them.

Boggo's on last tomorrow night, probably around 8.00pm local time, whatever that is with the time difference.

Aucks's & Aisam's QF opponents will be Daniel Brands & Martin Slanar, who thrashed the Swedish/Norwegian combo 1 & 2 this morning.

*  FD:  Poland's only an hour ahead of us, so Boggo will be on court at about 7 pm our time. wink

The first singles seed has now bitten the dust:  Adrian Mannarino (2), beaten 6-3 6-7(5) 3-6 by the Russian lucky loser, Alexandre Kudryavtsev! disbelief
