Johanna beat Dentoni 6-3 3-6 6-2
Am I reading too much into this ? This is by far her best senior tournament performance after she was given a wild card by the lta. Is she to become a fully fledged british citizen imminently ? Whilst her application for citizenship was in doubt? her performances had been below par.

Excellent for the pair of them - Johanna's first challenger final and Katie's first since Glasgow in 2007. A very encouraging start to the year for Katie. Last year she only managed 3 consecutive wins once. This year she has already achieved that at the Australian Open and surpassed it here.

If we're talking above 10K level then yes, cos she won a 10K title in 2008.

But either way, BLOODY HELL. This is MUCH MUHC better from Katie this year already. Cracking stuff biggrin And well done Johanna, you'll be very welcome as a Brit once you get your passport wink LOL!
