Still can't believe they haven't got the cameras turned on for this match. Radio commentary isn't the best I've heard either.

Sounds like Laura is playing pretty poorly at the momnet hitting lots of forehand errors, maybe some nerves.

Sounds like Pervak is a excellent retriever, and is winning some rallies that Laura should have taken. 2*-4

Definetely a battle between the hard hitting of Robson and the retrieving skills of Pervak at the moment. Laura holds to 30 for 3*-4.

Laura starting to up her game, hitting some great winners to get two breaks poionts, but then a string of poor unforced errors gives Pervak the game. This is all about Laura at the moment, the game is being dictated by her winners and erros. 3*-5

Laura's game suddenly falls apart and she loses the first set 6-3.

Laura played nowhere near her best there. When she's on top of her game it sounds as if she is considserably better than Pervak. She also had leads and game points in a lot the games she lost, so she neads to work on closinf out games.

I'm off to bed now though, so I'll have to find out the score tommorow.

Good luck in the rest of the match Laura, and keep your level up!

Laura was over hitting at the start of this set and is now trying to stay in the rallies, however laura still goes two breaks down 0-4*

Laura gets three break points and takes the 2nd when Pervak put an easy ball out. *1-4

Laura has hit a lot of shots that would be winners against any other junior but Pervak's experience at the senior level means Laura gets surprised at her "winners" being returned. Laura is also a bit slow to chase balls down.
Laura loses her service again after overhitting. 1-5*
