Article in Daily mail indicates Dubai may be cancelled (I dont know if they mean this year!)-
ATP Dubai Senior ATP officials have flown out to Dubai to try to salvage the growing Israeli visa crisis after hearing that doubles specialist Andy Ram is likely to be barred from next weeks Barclays Championships in the UAE.
The UAE bans Israelis from visiting the country and prevented Rams compatriot Shahar Peer from competing in this weeks womens tournament.
And a refusal to also issue Australian Open doubles winner Ram with a visa could have serious ramifications, with the ATP mens tour believed to be considering cancelling the lucrative event.
The 28-year-old said: I hope they have learned from their mistake in barring Shahar. I just want to receive a visa and play.
