Oliver Evans beat 11th seed Tim Bradshaw but apart from that, I think all other 15 seeded players square off in the final round.

FQR: (q12) Kyle Brassington WR 1138 v (q1) Scott Oudsema (USA) WR 649
FQR: (q15) Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 1270 v (q2) Olivier Charroin (FRA) WR 662
FQR: (q3) Matt Illingworth WR 708 v (q13) Barry King (IRL) WR 1200
FQR: (q9) Dan Smethurst WR 974 v (q4) Colin O'Brien (IRL) WR 714
FQR: (q5) Josh Milton WR 746 v Oliver Evans UNR
FQR: (q7) Dan Cox WR 831 v (q14) Nick Cavaday WR 1200
FQR: (q8) Marcus Willis WR 963 beat (q10) Baptiste Bayet (FRA) WR 1033

So, all but one FQR match has GB interest, two guaranteed qualifiers, two more Brits higher-ranked than their opponents. Surprised to see Bradshaw lose (excellent result for Evans) and Milton pushed so close by Gill.

Oops, a tiny bit of duplication there! The smileys are usually helpful at identifying the shocks, but there was only one and that's mentioned in Shhh's post, so I've taken QR1/QR2 out of my post (since it's already in Smidster's) but left my FQR list with the extra note in and taken out Smidster's FQR list. Hope that makes sense!

WC's for Flemming (vs Bloomers), Pauffley, Arlidge and Skupski

Great result for member Fitzy!

I edited in advanced and added smilies but then found no reply/submit button so could not post - anyone know what has happened?
(When 'editing' the submit button reappears.)

Lovely result by Fitzy there, beating Charroin! Good stuff happy.gif Close one from Marcus but hope to see him do well here after his progress towards the end of last year (until he got injured that is)
