RE: Entries Week 4 - 26/1

I know Oliver Golding played a brave young lad in 'Greyfriars Bobby' but going to Israel to play tennis right now is not required to prove the point LOL !

He agrees with you and has pulled out!

Fleming, Skupski and Seator have pulled out of Germany Futures (qualifying list) so assume they figure may as well do Heilbronn qualifying

It looked like we might have Brits in action all over the place in week 4, but the huge spate of w/ds seems to have left us with hardly anyone anywhere. Hopefully one or two will pop up in Heilbronn or maybe even Carson qualifying.

Edit: in a horribly strong acceptance list for Heilbronn (see http://www.tennisoncourt.it/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=100:week-4&catid=46:entrylistchallenger&Itemid=56), Boggo is currently up to 16th Alt, with Bloomers 39th Alt. That doesn't mean they'll definitely play in qualifying or that some of the other Brits won't turn up in qualifying as well/instead, but it may be a good indication of who is likely to show up.

Updated with withdrawals.

Anyone know what has happened to Neil Bamford - have not seen him anywhere this year?

I'm also wondering what's happened to James Auckland. Has he given up?

Sadly, there are no Brits in Heilbronn Challenger qualifying. The cut was 314, so only the two on the Alt list (Boggo and Bloomers) would have got in out of those who aren't DAs for the Mettmann Future but it looks like even Boggo didn't turn up.

Burnham Arlidge hasn't turned up for qualifying in Bergheim either, so after looking like it could be such a busy week, it's going to be a very quiet one apart from Mettmann. cry
